And on what do you base this? You just made it up

Bullshit. Total and utter bullshit. 

1. As a user, I don't have to read anything I don't want to. 

2. I'm _not_ the list-owner. 

3. My declining to read something affects his ability to 
   continue to spew in no way whatsoever. _If_ I were the list-owner,
   I'd actually have an obligation not to filter on a 
   user basis, so as to be able to respond to admin requests
   and questions. There is no obligation on my part in this 
   case. I dont know where you're getting it from. Finding fault 
   with someone who sends that garbage to /dev/null is the single 
   most ridiculous idea floated by in all this mess.
