My turn...

I've been sitting back reading everyones critique of the CBGB's shows and
figured it was time for me to add my two cents. My wife and I went to
only one show, the Wednesday night appearance. We were both very excited
about seeing Patti at CBGB's a place that holds so much history for Patti
and the NY punk rock scene. When we heard the reports of a three hour
plus set the night earlier with a song list with tons of material from
Horses, we were exstremely pumped up even more.

We were very much disapointed by what others have mentioned that the set
was slow paced. I had to beg my wife for us to stay for the whole set.
She actually fell a sleep towards the end. She admitted that if Patti
played a medely of Horses and Gloria she would have been wide awake and
dancing.

Patti does what she wants and that's one of the things that makes her
unique is her honesty. But if she is tired of the old material, the
least she could have done is spread it out over a couple nights so
everyone gets satisfied.

If someone gets a tape of the first night let me know.
