I know just enough about REM to know that he
was the one with the brain aneurysm on their 
last tour, so I was shocked.

She went on: "You'll be reading lots of rumours
and innuendo about it, but it was just one of
those things where someone had to do what he 
had to do..."

So then I'm thinking, "Oh, geez. He did himself in."

But since she didn't go on any anti-suicide rant,
I decided that the story was, in all probability, 
that he only _quit_. :) 


More humor... Introducing "Last Call", she talked about
Stipe being on the track on the CD, and the reason you could 
hardly hear him was that they mixed Stipe low themselves so 
it wouldn't get any airplay. :)
