server woes and tape trees

AOL lately has been seemingly storing up my mail and delivering in great
loads, but often late. Gripe gripe gripe, but my local ISP has its own set of
problems. Gripe gripe some more. Anyway, so I had no way of trying for any
spare tickets that were offered up, since I read the posts too late. Gripe
gripe gripe.
Which means I couldn't sneak my DAT into CBs . . . I've seen people
offering to help with a tape tree, but haven't actually seen anyone offer to
*seed* it yet. Just wondering if I missed out on something else. If there's a
tape tree going, and I don't know about it, I'd love to be a digital leaf if
possible (but I could live with analog). Unfortunately my plain ol' cassette
deck pretty much sucks, so until I replace it, I don't want to offer to be a
branch.
I listened to the Real Audio broadcast on Wednesday, and the show seemed
great but the audio quality was dismal. Yuk. I'd love to hear a decent tape
from the actual venue.
