Rock-N-Roll Madonna

Has everyone heard about the book called "Patti Smith: Rock-N-Roll
Madonna?" I have two copies and when I return home tonight will pull them
out and write about the publisher/author(s). I think it came out in the
early 80s. It has lots of great b&w photos, chronicles Patti's childhood
and early New York years, then a chapter on each record. Anyway, I haven't
read it in years but I remember great passages like a Lester Bang's review
of Horses noticing how Horses refuses to be background music, how it
completely takes over the energy and atmosphere in a room and whether or
not you like the music you simply can't ignore it either. I'll try and post
it later.
