No, I haven't read the New Yawker since it ceased being the New Yorker.
Actually, since about 10 years before that, when the glitzy ads finally barfed
me out for good. I'm a big fan of "The Large Glass," though. There's a
cool project to put together 25 different websites each celebrating one
feature of "The Large Glass": I have a link to it on my "outta here"
page at http://www.oceanstar.com/links.htm if you're interested.
I tried to talk my husband into letting me hang a large poster-sized
version of "The Large Glass" in our living room. He looked at a
reproduction of it for a long time, and said, "No way -- it's too
FRUSTRATING!!" I had to laugh. It's *supposed* to be frustrating: 9
bachelors who can't get to that lovely bride...
