"QuickTime" is the name of the format the
video clips on the disc are in: it's a format by
Apple for audio/video, and to make sure you
can use the content of the CD-ROM, there's PROBABLY
a copy of the software (QuickTime for Windows)
on the CD-ROM for you to install before launching in....
More troublesome, though, is the fact that
these "enhanced" CDs do not work (the computer
data part, that is) on many models of CD-ROM
drive. "Certain models manufactured by NEC"
is the popular disclaimer to describe the
drives which won't recognize the
data. Why they didn't just say "anything built
in the last three years" is beyond me. ;-)
