a few days ago an inferior recording of Patti's 25 December 1971 poetry reading was posted on Dime at http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=176120


a better sounding version of this show is now running at http://www.tapecity.org/showthread.php?p=127608

it sounds better, clearer than the Dime torrent.  It's identical to the recording distributed in recent years on the Patti mailing lists on a DVD I called "Dimeless".


I think the Dime torrent has been subjected to a bad job of noise reduction, it sounds hollow.


This Dime torrent also has the dedication--the first 13 seconds of track 2--cut out and stuck onto the start of the show. (Based on the cuts there on this Dime torrent, and the seamlessness there on the one now running at tapecity.)
