Considering the "normal" price of rock concerts these days, and the usual
price of Patti's concerts, which is quite affordable, AND considering what
New Year's Eve extravaganzas cost, I don't think these prices are at all
unreasonable. And to imply that nobody remembered who she was... I simply
have to disagree. I wish more than anything that I could get to NYC for the
shows and I'd be more than happy to pay twice that! But I'll be here between
my mountains in Austria as usual, and if they broadcast again on Sirius, get
up again at 4 am to listen.

Yes, that's true, and please also note that the ticket prices are  
astronomical.
$40 for the first two nights and $55 for the second????? I just  
looked on the bowery
ballroom website and there is not another act booked there charging more
than $20 for tickets.  This is robbery. Nice way to reward the fans that
have been coming to her all three of her New Years shows for 10 years  
when nobody else remembered
who she was.
