I've also been wondering about the Bowery birthday/New Years run.

I've only ever been to New York once before and that was back in 1984. Patti 
wasn't there then - but Frank Zappa was! - and i went to see him at the Felt 
Forum on Halloween. I'd love to see Patti at the Bowery, been checking out 
some flight prices but wouldn't want to book until I'm sure that she is 
playing the Bowery this year, I know it has become a tradition, but just 
incase she breaks from tradition this year!!
