Years ago (Mitch scratches his gray beard) there was a big discussion on
the list about "makes me come on like some heroin/e". Is it heroin the
drug, or heroine as in female hero? About half the people on the list
had heard it one way and half the other way. Personally I had always
thought of the drug when hearing that lyric. The conclusion was that
Patti, as an artist and a clever person, probably intended it that the
lyric could work both ways, and enjoyed the ambiguity. Maybe this one
is the same way. Personally I had always heard "sperm coffin" but if it
works the other way for some people, so much the better.
