Back in 1975/76, Louie Louie was a staple of Patti's show. She would often
segue Pale Blue Eyes into Louie Louie....there are at least a couple of
bootlegs that have it.

As recently as 1983 [wow, that's still 24 years ago!] I had the
pleasure of seeing them in northern California. Not all original
members of course, but still as authentic sounding to me as the earlier
days. We got to chatting after the show, and to make a long story short
they offered to record a song for me to use on an upcoming radio
special I was involved in.
And that's how I got the Chambers Brothers to record "Louie Louie" for
me!!!
Very nice guys, I stayed in touch for a few more years when they'd play
near San Francisco.
So...why didn't Patti resurrect "Louie Louie"? It was never formally
recorded, just appeared on fan live recordings. With the release of
'TWELVE' and the current tour, it would be a natural!!!
