Before the screening, Patti Smith recalled spending "weeks pay at the
factory" to travel to Philadelphia and New York from her home in south
New Jersey to see the film, noting that it influenced everything from
the way she talks to the way she walks.

Interview with Patti Smith

http://spinner.aol.com/rockhall/patti-smith-2007-inductee/interview

Patti Smith was an idiosyncratic punk icon from the word go. Her
unconventional hybrid of rock and poetry set forth a no-holds-barred
musical dimension of jazzy improvisations, jagged guitars and
spiritual declarations. More Mick Jagger than Joan Baez, the New
Jersey-raised Smith refused sexual objectification with a cool
androgyny and followed her muse with uncompromising integrity,
influencing not only her CBGB contemporaries but generations of
musicians to come. Her debut album, 1975's 'Horses,' is one of rock's
most heralded, with an opening line -- "Jesus died for somebody's sins
but not mine" -- that's worthy of its own Rock Hall induction. Spinner
talked to the woman of many crowns -- poet, activist, painter,
photographer, misfit, musician and mother -- about adding yet another:
Hall of Famer.

What were you doing when you got the call saying that you were being
inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

I was home either working on a poem or feeding the cats. You know,
doing what I do at home.

And what was your immediate reaction?

I have been nominated many times, so I was really happy. My only bit
of sadness was that my parents, who really looked forward to this,
have both passed away since my first nomination, so I'll have to
accept in their spirit.

What are your thoughts on the rest of the inductees?

It's a great year because my good friend Michael Stipe and R.E.M. are
being inducted. I always loved the Ronettes and I think it's a really
diverse year. I'm sure they'll do a beautiful tribute to [late
Atlantic Records founder] Ahmet Ertegun and it'll be a good night.
I've never been pro-institution in terms of rock 'n' roll but I feel
that it's still a great honor to be chosen.

And have you spoken with Michael?

Yes, we spoke right away. He was in London and we were all really
happy. It was kind of funny -- through the years I always imagined
that perhaps Michael would be there with me. And he is, in a whole
other configuration. I know I'm gonna feel very proud and happy to see
R.E.M. inducted.

Which songs do you plan to perform?

My mother asked me before she died, if I made it to sing a certain
song for her. I'm sure that I will fit it in.

Which song would that be?

I can't say because if I'm not asked to do it, I might have to do it
anyway. That's my big hope -- my plan -- to sing a song for my mom.

Can you imagine what you'll be experiencing emotionally and mentally
during the induction?

When I think about this night, I think about all of the people that
through my life have made this possible. It's emotional for me because
so many of the people that I want there and who wanted to be there --
my husband, my brother, my father and mother -- aren't going to be.
Even the years that I didn't perform, my late husband [former MC5
guitarist Fred "Sonic" Smith] taught me to sing better, taught me to
play acoustic guitar and be more independent in writing songs. And I
learned so much from him politically as well as musically. Rock 'n'
roll is collaborative. You don't do anything by yourself.
I'll also be thinking of the whole history of rock. I'm 60 years old
and I've seen it evolve throughout my whole life, starting with Little
Richard to the Animals and Bob Dylan, and on and on. I've often said
that rock 'n' roll got me through my adolescence. I was awkward,
skinny and socially inept, and rock introduced me to that which was
energetic and revolutionary and physical. If I'm going to participate
in this night, I'm going to think of it in the highest way possible --
that it is emblematic of our culture, and all of the things that rock
'n' roll has offered to us and its possibilities.

What's it like for you to make music with your son and daughter,
[guitarist] Jackson and [pianist] Jesse, especially given the passing
of Fred?

Looking at both of them when they're playing, I see him. It's really
great to have a part of him to work through our son and daughter. But
I also look at them as individuals. I have both perspectives -- the
pride of a mom and a lot of respect as musicians and people.

And they'll be joining you on your upcoming tour in support of your
new album, 'Twelve.' Please share a bit about the project, which
features all cover songs.

I always wanted to do a covers album, but I didn't really feel I had
the range to do the kind of album I wanted to do. I didn't know enough
about singing. But now it seemed like the right time. As the project
evolved, a lot of the songs on the list I made in the beginning didn't
make the final cut, and a lot of songs that I didn't plan on doing
wound up being the ones I chose. They're all special to me for
different reasons. Neil Young's 'Helpless' and Nirvana's 'Smells Like
Teen Spirit' had emotional resonance for me. But Nirvana was the most
emotional experience.

You're very brazen in your work. Is there anything that's sacred or
untouchable that you will not put forth for the public's taking?

I try to give as much of myself in my work as possible. Politically, I
don't censor anything. I will always say what I think. But I don't
believe that an artist's personal life should be up for continuous
scrutiny. Luckily, I'm not a big celebrity or a pop star, and people
-- most of the time -- don't focus on what I do. I wouldn't want
people bothering my son and daughter. I wouldn't want people following
me around. The way the media spends so much time and space on people's
personal life is not only outrageous, but it doesn't serve the real
needs of the people. It might serve to entertain them but all of the
things we should be worried about -- whether it's health issues or
environmental issues -- get so little space. The indiscretions of the
celebrity will get the first page, which is a real disgrace.
Otherwise, I try to share as much as I can.

I know that art is genderless, but your role in terms of pioneering
women in music and rock, specifically, cannot be undermined at all.
Can you speak to that?

When I first did 'Horses' in '75, I never thought about things like
that. I was thinking more about people who were disenfranchised, male
or female. It was a lot harder back then for women to do things than
it is now, and I'm certain that it's still more of a challenge, but I
think that we've come a long way. I never think in terms of
gender-specificity, but I'm certainly a woman and a mother. Somebody
said to me that they were disappointed that I wasn't more involved in
women's rights. I said, "Well, I'm a mother. I have a son and a
daughter. Who do you think I should fight for?" I fight for both of
them.
My counsel to people still is to be proud of who they are, whatever
gender, race or sexual persuasion, but that one should not limit
themselves to that. Why should anyone be defined by one thing? When
people say, "Would you be in a show of four women painters?" and I
say, "Well, they don't have a show of four men painters. They just
have artists." Why should women have a limitation or a qualification
on what they're doing?

Did you have any idea in 1975 that the opening line of 'Gloria' would
become as famous as it has?

[Laughs] No. First of all, I wrote the poem for 'Gloria' in 1970. I
was brought up a Jehovah's Witness and I had a strong religious
education and a very good Bible education. I left organized religion
as a teenager because I felt it was too confining. When I wrote
'Gloria,' it wasn't really anti-Christ -- who I really admire -- it
was anti the idea that everything was set up for us and we had to fall
into a certain behavior based on how things were organized for us. If
I was going to do things wrong, I didn't want anyone having to die for
my sins -- I was going to take responsibility. It was really about
personal and mental liberation. A writer called it a declaration of
existence. To this day, I think that's the best description of that
song, although I probably would not write the same lyric now because
I've gone through a long process of evolution.

How would you summarize your career if you were to give your own
induction introduction?

I've never wanted a career and I don't believe I have one. I believe
that I'm a worker and that I've always done the best I could. I've had
no design in terms of career and if I did, one could readily say that
I did a bad job. My whole life, I've been inspired by other people's
work -- whether it was reading 'Peter Pan' or listening to Jimi
Hendrix or John Coltrane or Beethoven. One of the things that makes
life worth living is being inspired by others, so I would hope that,
in giving me this honor, they're saying that I did good work and they
have faith that I'll keep doing good work. And that's what I'll do.

Foundation yesterday announced the artists who will induct this year's
honorees.

Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five (Kid Creole, Cowboy,
Grandmaster Flash, Melle Mel, Mr. Ness, Raheim) will be inducted by
Jay-Z.
R.E.M. (Bill Berry, Peter Buck, Mike Mills, Michael Stipe) will be

The Ronettes (Estelle Bennett, Ronnie Spector, Nedra Talley) will be
inducted by Keith Richards.
Patti Smith will be inducted by Zach De La Rocha.
Van Halen (Michael Anthony, Sammy Hagar, Alex Van Halen, Eddie Van
Halen, David Lee Roth) will be inducted by Velvet Revolver.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the
Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on March 12, 2007 will also honor Ahmet Ertegun,
legendary founder of Atlantic Records. There will be a special
performance by surprise artist. Ertegun, who was a crucial figure in
the careers of artists ranging from Ray Charles to Aretha Franklin to
the Rolling Stones to Led Zeppelin, was instrumental in founding and
was the Chairman of the Foundation. The Rock Hall Museum in
Cleveland's main exhibit hall is the Ahmet Ertegun Exhibition Hall.

The 2007 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, Grandmaster Flash and
the Furious Five, R.E.M., The Ronettes, Patti Smith and Van Halen were
chosen by the 600 voters of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation.
Artists are eligible for inclusion in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
25 years after their first recording is released.

In addition to being honored at the ceremony on March 12, 2007, each
artist who is inducted is commemorated within the I.M. Pei-designed
museum in Cleveland, Ohio. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame displays the
signature of each inductee inscribed in glass. In addition, there is
an exhibit of artifacts from this year's inductees, and a multi-media
film presentation with highlights from each artist's career. The
exhibit on this year's inductees will open in March, 2007 and will run
for one year.

ZEITGEIST MULTI-DISCIPLINARY ARTS CENTER

http://www.zeitgeistinc.net/2007/03/zeitgeist-multi-disciplinary-arts.html

Wednesday, April 11 @ 7:30 p.m.
THE MUSIC FILMS OF JEM COHEN plus KELLI SHAY HICKS in concert. This
compilation features 11 of Jem Cohen's collaborations with musicians.
Made on 16mm, Super 8 and Video, the works include the music of
R.E.M., Gil Shaham and the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Void, Elliot
Smith, Jonathan Richman, Miracle Legion and Olivier Messiaen. $10
general / $8 members.

NIGHTSWIMMING
R.E.M. long-form video, "Full Moon Version", 1995, 8:15, 16mm/Super 8
After seeing my film, Drink Deep, which revolved around rural swimming
holes, R.E.M. asked me to make the video for "Nightswimming." We
wanted to make something erotic that broke away from the crass
formulas of MTV--to offer different kinds of bodies, male and female,
and to extend the liberating possibilities of "skinnydipping" to
people altogether outside of the predictable demographic. Later, when
the band was collecting pieces for a home video release, I asked if I
could expand the project into more of an independent film, and to
include a section that would retain the spirit of the piece, but
without music. (It was always my intention to pull "music videos" as
far away from being commercial promos as possible).

COUNTRY FEEDBACK
R.E.M., 1991, 4:40, Super 8
One of R.E.M.'s most personal songs, and my favorite, which made the
project particularly interesting and difficult. I saw it as a
reflection on regret. I learned a lot about editing here: holding
shots back, stripping things down, waiting.

E-BOW, THE LETTER
R.E.M. Director's Cut, 1996, 5:22, 16mm/Video
The song, written in the form of a letter, invokes travel and memory,
apprehension and hope. The video was shot in L.A., New York, and
Prague, but I wanted to blur the distinctions between the cities
because regional distinctions are rapidly disappearing as corporate
presence becomes increasingly dominant. Because of the nature of the
job, I was unfortunately unable to entirely avoid lip-sync, but I made
sure that all of the instruments were plugged in and I encouraged the
band to play, read, and hang out as if they were in a normal practice
room. Patti Smith's presence is critical in the video, as it has been
in R.E.M.'s approach to music. We got on a tram with her in Prague and
shot without permission. It occurred to me later that the reason I
loved the shot of the two girls (who just happened to be in the Prague
train station) was that they reminded me of her, as a New Jersey
teenager en route to the big city, "following her star."

WINTER MOVEMENT (FOUR SEASONS)
Gil Shaham/Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, 1996, 6:40, 16mm/Super 8
Classical music video for Deutsche Grammophon
I was interested in showing classical musicians as human beings:
intense and passionate. The Orpheus Orchestra, which functions as a
leaderless collective, were a great subject. We filmed guest violinist
Gil Shaham talking about Vivaldi's work, and went out on the New
York's wintry streets asking random passersby to read Vivaldi's poetic
footnotes describing the music's progression.

WHAT DOES AWAY MEAN?
Public Service Announcement, 1989, 0:30, Super 8
Done as part of C-Hundred Film Corp's "Direct Effect" PSA series.
Music by D.C. punk/metal band, Void.

LUCKY THREE
Elliott Smith, 1997, 11:30, 16mm
An independent film portrait of singer/songwriter Elliott Smith in
Portland, Oregon in 1996, wherein he plays three songs. The songs were
done live acoustic--in his old studio, a living room, and a bathroom
(it was quiet in there). It's also a small portrait of Portland,
Oregon. The songs are "Between the Bars", "Angeles", and a cover of
"Thirteen" by Big Star. This is Elliott as I remember him, at his
simple finest as musician.

I WAS DANCING IN THE LESBIAN BAR
Jonathan Richman, 1996, 3:00, 16mm
Shot live at New York's Knitting Factory. Jonathan Richman needed his
first video. I didn't want to do any lip-sync, and neither did he, so
we shot a live performance in New York and I also stopped people on
the street and had them dance to the song on a boombox.

YOU'RE THE ONE, LEE
Miracle Legion, 1989, 4:00, Super 8/Video
An early effort for a friend's band that never quite got their due.
Small town/Big town Super 8 and moments from a show at the old CBGBs.

TALK ABOUT THE PASSION
R.E.M., 1988, 3:40, Super 8/Video)
My first (non) music video, with some images borrowed from THIS IS A
HISTORY OF NEW YORK. (I was asked to make it from that work, but chose
to shoot some additional material specifically for the video).
Shooting on an abandoned elevated rail structure above the city, I
encountered a man who had set up his home in the shadow of a docked
battleship. It concerns homelessness and military expenditure,
counting and accountability. Knowing it would be broadcast, I made an
attempt (perhaps naove) to foreground the political.

BELONG
R.E.M., 1992, 5:00, Super 8/Video
The simplest convergence of landscape (the train trip out of New York
through the Jersey Meadowlands) with live, non-sync concert footage;
plus fragments of Super 8 aerials I shot from a small plane in
Florida. The intro refers to events in Eastern Europe and China's
Tiananmen Square. In 2005, shooting on the same train line through the
same windows, I would have my film confiscated and turned over to the
FBI. The once innocent bridges, parking lots, and abandoned fields
were now "infrastructure" and a supposed national security concern.

VOCALISE
Olivier Messiaen, 1995, 5:20, 16mm/Super 8
Chung/Bastille Opera Orchestra
I was invited by Deutsche Grammophon to make another classical video.
Impressions of Messiaen's bird and color obsessions, in another bid to
bring classical music into the everyday world.

KELLI SHAY HICKS is a brilliant singer/songwriter from Nashville who
plays the guitar and autoharp and whose debut CD - Bucked is a
collection of her songs recorded by Jem Cohen in abandoned urban
spaces in upstate New York.

C&L's Late Nite Music Club with Jimi Hendrix
By: Nicole Belle on Thursday, March 1st, 2007 at 8:10 PM - PST

http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/03/01/cls-late-nite-music-club-with-jimi-hendrix/

(guest blogged by Howie Klein)

Jimi Hendrix was long gone by the time I became president of Reprise
Records. Coincidentally, though, as a college concert chairman I had
booked the Jimi Hendrix Experience for their first appearance in the
U.S. The last time I ran into him was in a small seaside town outside
of Essaouira, my favorite spot in Morocco, in 1969. Soon after that, I
met another revolutionary artist who has changed the course of pop
music: Patti Smith.

And last week I got to hear Patti's next album, TWELVE, a collection
of a dozen covers that have meant a lot to her and to many of us. The
album starts with a brilliant and sensual rendition of Jimi's "Are You
Experienced?" (informed by lots of Beatles). Patti's album is amazing
and I'll try to get an advance for Crooks and Liars.

Meanwhile, here's the original: (Are You Experienced - video)

Oh, the other songs on Patti's album: "Helpless," "Gimme Shelter,"
"Within You Without You," "White Rabbit," "Changing of The Guard,"
"Boy in a Bubble," "Soul Kitchen," "Smells Like Teen Spirit,"
"Midnight Rider," and "Gangsta's Paradise" (kind of).
So tonight's contest: without having heard a note of it, review Patti
Smith's new album. Send your entry to downwithtyranny and if
yours is the best review, we'll send you the mindblowing 15 CD boxset
BOB DYLAN REVISITED, 15 classic albums by a master who influenced the
work of both Patti and Jimi.

Why does it seem to be that are all the other bands being inducted together,
but no Lenny, Ivan, Jay Dee, Tony, Richard, etc.? I'm happy Patti's being
honored, but I'd like to see the whole band get their due. It's not fair!

Companies AOL To Live Stream Rock Hall Ceremonies

http://www.paidcontent.org/entry/419-aol-to-stream-rock-hall-ceremonies/#When:16:59:00Z

Until now, if you've wanted to know what happened at the Rock and Roll
Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, you had to go. Typically, VH1 ran a
heavily edited broadcast the weekend after the event, which showed
some of the performances but missed completely the spirit and pleasure
of being at the event. No more. On March 12, the night of the event,
AOL will stream the event live, without commercial interruptions. The
ceremonies also will appear live on VH1 Classic and MHD (MTV's hi-def
channel), apparently with commercials. On-demand viewings will be
available the following day, and the traditional edited version will
appear, as usual, the following weekend. The inductees this year are
Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, R.E.M., The Ronettes, Patti
Smith, and Van Halen.
MTVN got plenty of bad notices for its Live 8 TV coverage; maybe this
time it will pass on making its VJs and promotions more important than
what happens onstage. And if Live 8 is any indication, AOL's streaming
should go smoothly. Too smoothly, probably, because Van Halen fans
won't get the Sammy Hagar-fighting-with-David Lee Roth spectacle we
were all hoping for. As Yahoo reports, the Van Halen reunion tour is
on the rocks and the band will be represented by Velvet Revolver.
Music fans will hope this year's ceremony is successful enough for AOL
to continue this practice. And, if so, there are about 20 years' worth
of induction ceremonies that should be made available in full online.

Hello,
As I live in London I went down to BBC Broadcasting House to see if
I could get my copy of 'Babel' signed by Patti after she had given her
interview. I did and I also got to take a few pictures. They're nothing
special but I've posted there here if anyone wants to see them.

Patti was in a good mood and stayed for several minutes signing,
chatting and having her picture taken with fans. It was good to see looking
so happy. That may have been, in part, because Jonathon Ross had just
played her version of 'Everybody Wants To Rule The World' for the first
time.

         Best wishes,
                            Gordon Comstock

Click on "Watch Preview Clips" under "Once Upon A Time In New York" at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/

The Patti in New York clip - being interviewed outside CBGB's - looks
remarkably similar to Gordon's photo! I can't get the Patti singing clip to
work.

I've just listened to Everybody wants to the rule the world and Helpless.

Helpless, very beautiful. It sounds like it could be on trampin' (i'm one of those ones that likes trampin' a lot). If you've not listened to that yet do yourself a favour and head over to the bbc website. I have always liked the song and to be honest was a little worried.

Everybody wants to.... not quite as certain how i felt about that one. Did i really depart from the original? I will have to listen to it again.

I am pretty excited about the upcoming release and concert here.

If you are a Comcast Digital Cable subscriber, and have
access to their "On Demand" service, you can currently
view a 17-minute segment of 2 '90s Patti appearances
on "Later with Jools Holland".

Select "Music" from the main "On Demand" menu, and
then "concert.tv", then "Hall of Fame 07", then "Patti
Smith".

>From 1996, PS reads PHTP, performs "Gone Again"
with Lenny and Oliver on acoustics, and sits for
an interview with JH including the chore of
watching an "Old Grey Whistle Test" clip of BTN.

I'm not sure of the date of the second appearance,
but she's with Oliver only, and performs BTN and DB
while he plays acoustic.

"concert.tv" is available on several cable systems.
Check their website (http://concert.tv) for a list.
(Site requires Flash.)

Hate President Bush ? Got a new record out ? The Today Programme can
meet all your UK publicity requirements - just ask Patti Smith.

Presenter (BBC Audio Player, 1.75 hours in) - "Ry Cooder, I've never
heard of you, but our editor listened to 'Bop Till You Drop' a lot
back in 1980. Would you like five minutes to abuse President Bush ?"

Cooder - "Why, thank you ... I don't know anyone who doesn't hate
George Bush ... two stolen elections ... America is a junk-food diner

Presenter - "Thank you very much"

Any idea what time Patti's segment will be? It looks like a 6 hour
show each day... It would be great if someone could tape these and
edit them together...

Kind regards

I've just listened to Everybody wants to the rule the world and Helpless.

Helpless, very beautiful. It sounds like it could be on trampin' (i'm one
of those ones that likes trampin' a lot). If you've not listened to that yet
do yourself a favour and head over to the bbc website. I have always liked
the song and to be honest was a little worried.

Everybody wants to.... not quite as certain how i felt about that one. Did i
really depart from the original?

Yours truly and the book I'm writing receive a kind mention in the
February/March 2007 issue of Gallery & Studio, a magazine devoted to
"The World of the Working Artist."

Managing editor Ed McCormack's essay, "Andy's Aura, Patti's Power, My
Sister's Boxes, My Father's Press Clippings, Paul Nelson's Withering,
and Other Aspects of Art and Fame, Obscurity and Loss, Death and
Resurrection," an extremely personal meditation (which, at six pages,
is almost as long as its title) on life and death, where we come from,
where we're going, and what we encounter along the way, at its heart
seeks to find the answer to this conundrum:

Why Patti Smith matters so much to those who take rock & roll more
seriously than McCormack does.

And while he wishes he could call upon the late rock critics Lester
Bangs (whom, in an otherwise painstakingly researched piece, he
misidentifies as "the dean of American rock critics," a title
belonging to Robert Christgau) or Paul Nelson to provide the answer,
Nelson probably couldn't have helped him, as Patti Smith's attraction
was lost on him, too.

About her first album, Horses, pretty much a universally acknowledged
classic, Nelson in 1976 wrote that "I never want to hear it again..."
In the years that followed, he avoided writing about Smith at all and,
the few times he did, struggled to resist the cheap shot.

All of which is neither here nor there, as McCormack, himself also an
ex-writer for Rolling Stone (as was Patti), does a fine job
addressing, in a heartfelt and often humorous manner, the considerable
cult that belongs to Smith.

As far as the bit about me, McCormack deftly demonstrates the
importance of remaining open to influence in one's art. Had I not
e-mailed him late last year while researching my book, I wouldn't be
writing this piece today; and McCormack might never have referenced
Paul Nelson -- and certainly not me -- and the article he happened to
be writing would have ended up being that much shorter.

RnRN? _Well_ she did say 'if "they" wouldn't let her play it, she
might have to anyway'...it _would_ be one of Bev's [perhaps guilty
pleasure] choices IMHO.

Although talking with friends, from the first word, I've been saying
SYWBRnRS would be perfect and perhaps my preference, if _not_ RnRN,
and I can imagine Bev telling her that would be the one to play for
the auspicious occasion.

Oh PLEASE _not_ PHTP (or Dancing Barefoot) ! AND TOTALLY NOT Because
the Night!!!! Glitter In Their Eyes would be my request from the newer
material, perhaps (toooo ROCKIN!) Citizen Ship would be an interesting
choice.

(uhmm - I was contacted off-list about Sirius [no I'm not a
subscriber] and I found this draft unsent....)

Wonder what will happen with the merger?

hmmm, I think i would have a hard time deciding. my intellectual
reflex would be sirius, but I for the most part I do hate yabbering
with my music, especially after I have decided it seems excessive to
me. (Like kexp radio is even too chatty.) I mostly listen to cable
when home. (During the summer I especially appreciate the Sounds of
the Season "channel" on Music Choice: "...down and mid-tempo beats
highlighting many different styles of music. From trip-hop to ambient,
acid jazz to atmospheric, The Pulse sets the mood for any down-tempo
setting or mindset.) Otherwise, I usually plan to have my own (at
least as an option), but what a pain - so I can imagine I would
really like at least one of these services, and be happy to pay the
fees provided the portable hardware was as/is ever as affordable as
other options. which would actually be for me a sort of leap-frog of
technology since I still have never had an mp3 player.

anyway it is still an interesting article and fairly in depth
comparison of the two satellite choices. I suppose with the prospects
of more shows from the Bowery (or such) if I was to go with one I
would get sirrius.....unless there are actual subscribers that can
provide any more information with regard to relavance to us freaks
(???)

Even in my modest collection of shows, certain songs appear on lots of
set-lists.

Ya'll wanna help, since for one my memory is crap, on some opinions
about best performances?
