From the Billboard article, it seems like Patti may be channeling the vibes from 40 years ago and will be including a lot of 'Summer of Love' era bands on her covers album. It may be that she will don all new songs she hasn't played live before, but if she does songs she has played live, here is a list of possible songs on the new album.
Please add more suggestions, as I am sure we will all be surprised when we see what Patti actually choses to include...
Cover songs from the late sixties era:
Bob Dylan: Masters of War, Like a Rolling Stone
Jimi Hendrix: Are You Experienced, If Six Were Nine
Jefferson Airplane: White Rabbit, Someone To Love
Neil Young: Ohio, Helpless, Living In the Free World
The Doors: Soul Kitchen, Changeling
The Yardbirds: Happenings Ten Years Gone, For Your Love
The Rolling Stones: Gimme Shelter, Salt of the Earth
Grateful Dead: Dark Star
Janis Joplin: Piece of my Heart
Older and Newer artists:
REM: Saturn Returns, Everybody Hurts
Nirvana: Heart Shaped Box
Plus: Opera songs and pop songs Beverly liked (June Christie)
