Well actually what's 'interesting' about this is that it illustrates  the 
rather quirky way in which we Americans reckon dates.  The example comprises, in 
order, 
 
    hours, minutes, seconds, month, date, year 
 
which isn't much order at all. A more, er, harmonious progression  might be 
 
    06.05.04 03:02:01 
 
ie, 3:02:01 am on Thursday, 4 May 2006, or else 
 
    01.02.03 04:05:06 
 
ie, 4:05:06 am on Saturday, 3 February 2001. I believe the latter example  
was actually mentioned in the press at the time. 
 
But I quibble.
