No, but I have downloaded and made much good use of WinMX,
which connects you by default to an OpenNap server. It
also (by default) logs you in on the Napster network,
enables searching through Napster-shared files, and
downloads Napster-shared offerings all using your WinMX
client.
It's not clear to me yet whether logged-in Napster
clients can see or make use of the files WinMx shares.
I do know that my close-to-2-gigabyte list of
some 400 files (all live and bootleg) was
effectively reduced to the neighborhood of 200
on the initial wave of filtering, and right now,
it looks like that 200 has been reduced even
further, to zero. That is, unless some other
technical gremlin is in effect about which I'm
clueless.
