The first time I heard REM (1987) was via an unmarked promo LP a
previous tennant had left on the floor of my new apartment.
I played it non stop for 12 hours through the night then raced to the
nearest record store to ask them who the group was. I've enjoyed them ever
since.
Boring? Can't imagine....
