Easter poster back up

This may be a truly minor, utterly personal bit of news, but
I'm pleased to announce that my Patti Smith "Easter" poster
is hanging now on the wall next to my computer. It's an old
poster--bought new in 1978--but it's in decent condition
because I had it mounted on foamboard in the early '80s.
It's been subjected to cooking fumes (in our kitchen for
about five years), to negative remarks (from people who
object to the nipples and hair armpits), and undying affection
over the past 22 years. It's been up and down and up and
down, but recently in the closet for a few years. But it's
up now, and it's still going strong.

For those of you who haven't seen the "Easter" poster, it's
the same photo as on the cover of the album, except the
view of Patti goes all the way down to her hipbones. Yes,
what looks like an underwear top (camisole?) that's she's
wearing, appears to be more like a slip--it's long. It's a
big poster, too--17" wide by 30" high.

I find it inspiring! And now I'll be looking right at it, every
day when I walk into my office.
