This is my new favorite song ever -- this is total perfection, and I listen to it over and over, and only wish that the feedback and the maracas and the "bop bah bah" and the lead guitar could *all* be louder... wow.

Is there a video? Is YLT as big as The Offspring yet?

Such chills, and I don't even know what the heck it's about... Julie Christie and Tom Courtenay and the needle and the rumors and a sordid life...

And just to crank up the intensity of the mindless fan drool another notch, here's why you should go look for the CD single right this second and not wait for the album:

There's three non-lp tracks on there, all of which are fine fine fine, and plenty good enough for an album (honestly, this Electr-O-Pura record's clearly gonna be killer if they're leaving stuff like this off of it), not to mention the fact that you're missing two or three full weeks in which you could be sticking your head inside your speakers and listening to Tom Courtenay over and over, just like we do here in Soho and Hoboken. The three extra tunes are

  1. a real quiet and kinda haunting one written and sung by Georgia
  2. a long quiet one sung by Ira
  3. outrageously raucous cover of the Dead C's "Bad Politics" [sample lyric: "Bad politics, baby"] sung by god-knows-who
All classic YLT, not to be missed...

$5.99 at Wal-Mart and Pik-'n-Pay, or free when you add 20 buffalo wings or an order of twisty bread to any pan pie from domino's; matador's clearly pulling out all the stops on this one...

Check it out!!!

It's so very lonely; you're lots light years from home.
