See this wuzn't a club, und it wasn't a bar, twas an, yes an, ARENA! And boy, oh boy, I wish it twasn't .... See first of all, we missed Social Distortion, so the night wuzn't like totally round, not totally round, like it woodaa if we caught em....but still Sonic Youth, hampered by low volume, still kicked some serious bash..The sound system wuzn't arena, and I can harken back to the million or so times I saw them in clubs, and they kicked. If they cranked up the vol, ore were sumwhere where music is what matters, LIKE A CLUB! THE ONLY PLACE TO SEE A BAND!! They kicked, really, blasted, woulda had those statues melting in de Isles, cuz it be right on howotherwise.. Didn't play as many songs, and didn't hear Stereo Sanctity, but it wuz an harena, und on principle they musta been saving the goodies for better stages... Turn it up!!! Und we get touched! Keep it down, und we reach und frown, huh huh huh..

Cum ere!~ So we wuz *(treated)* to un blast of solid, kicking, tunes we alls Cnows und loves... Staple aftra staple, und it all wuz sounding good und killer, but not everything we wuz specting, Welfare Mother aside! The man's old, ok, but I knows there's still life kicking in a big way there, just we were too far way to see it! Und he just wasn't flashing the chaos. Good stuff, killer even mebbe, but there's just ain't a groove in an arena to catch, und it didn't, Me be waiting for the HBO rerun, meself.... Comon Neil, cut loose fer us, from the solid base ya displayed to us here, it wuz killer, und it wuz fun, und it wuz interesting, ya should be able to blast head from here to hell if You'd only pull that last pin...AGAIN!!
