You know, I've had a similarly weird Shaggs experience. My sister's best
friend has this totally preppy boyfriend. He was the head of Clinique in
Canada for some time (I'm trying to create an
image here), and is, well, a bit on the feminine side (shall we say). Well,
I just think of him liking
say, Wham instead of the Shaggs. One day a few years back he called me up
to say he'd gotten
this fabulous new CD by an all-girl group called the Shaggs. He'd wondered
if I'd ever heard of
'em???!!!! 
Boy, was I suprised!
