>Well, whatever you do, DO NOT USE SOAP!!!! I was taught by a major record collector that dish detergent is OK, as long as it's mild and mixed right into water (a dab'll do ya!). I dry my records off with fluffy towels so there is no water remaining and it doesn't sit there on them. Never had a problem. Works beautifully. Especially good on records that are not made of vinyl.
