60's Dances

Hi,

I know quite a few 60's dances.  If you e-mail me off the list I can 
describe them to you the best I can!  The only way to really learn is to 
take a class or be shown how-to;  I tried learning from old books and 
record sleeves, then signed up for a local class thinking I was hot 
shit.  And here I had most of them wrong!  My favorite was the way our 
instructor (a very HYPER old gay guy) described learning to twist (the 
"real" Twist, "not that Pulp Fiction gyrating" as he put it) as "just 
stepping out of a shower, towel drying your ass rapidly whilst mashing 
out cigarette butts on the floor with both feet."  It was right on, too!
