The Jaybirds 'Going Our Own Ways'

What an astounding LP, far better than the first. These Austrian guys
really have a grasp of the UK/Euro Mod-soul-psych sound. I've played
this LP two times in a row -- that means it must be good. They have a
fantastic singer, are great musicians, play a good choice of covers; On
Love (Skip Bifferty) and a handful of rhythm'n'soul classics; have
penned a number of originals, which are mindblowing, and on top of that
look tops too.
  Who else digs these guys?
Spaniards, were they good at The Purple Weekend?
In the next Shindig there will be a feature, that's for sure. I think
this band is overlooked.
