The ugly insomniac replies… Dearest Bob -- Horribly overgrown?! Listen 
here, mofo, I'll only concede if you're talkin' about noses. Jump up and 
kiss my belt buckle.... The revered Bomp list is no place for you to air

Anyway, dunno if anybody is interested in this, but when I was out in 
San Diego last weekend, I had the opportunity to cruise up to Orange 
County (with Tony Sanchez and Mike Stax and John from the Loons) to a 
record fair where Larry Tamblyn and Dick Dodd of the Standells were 
hangin' loose and signin' autographs. They ended up bein' two really 
cool dudes - they had me crackin' up…. According to Dick Dodd, Tony 
Valentino currently owns and runs an Italian restaurant with his family 
in Cali and played a Telecaster on "Medication" (Yes, findin' out the 
gear used on certain sessions was one of my geeky questions….) For the 
record, Larry Tamblyn doesn't really like "The Hot Ones" either - When I 
handed him my copy of this lp to sign, I said "I even want you to 
autograph my least favorite Standells' album." He replied, "Y'know, I 
have to agree with that…."
