Sounds like a drag. But on a happier note, have you heard The Wellwater 
Conspiracy's absolute KILLER cover version of this song? It'll make up 
for any lame techno attempt

No I haven't. How many bands can  or have actually covered this song?
I'm assuming these are the only two!! There's this band in Québec who 
specialise in covers of Québec garage like Les Misérables or Les Lutins 
and just totally destroy them! Really lame, modern covers. Everybody at 
the station plays them and it drives me NUTS! Then everybody wonders, 
"Mimi, how can you NOT like this, they cover the songs you like! It's 
really retro!"  I think I'm about to kill someone here....
