The Remains

Met up with our Australian friend Russ (of You Am I) last night and had a
few bars in a local pub. He reminded me of who this Jon Weiss character
really is, a former member of The Vipers... Oh, yeah, Blair - he says I'll
be able to recognise you at Cave Stomp by his description of you as "a bald
midget in a Cynics t-shirt". Ha!

When he first met The Remains, outside their hotel, he thought that they
were just a bunch of American tourists - with their leisurewear and
cameras. He didn't actually see them play but apparently the audience
enjoyed them well enough and Barry and the guys had a good time. I expect
Russ to give you all the full story when he gets back.
