Joe:
I presume you've known for years the Fleshtones were the greatest rock n roll band ever but are only getting around to saying it now. Sort of like me. It's hard for me to admit the best one is a band from my lifetime, not from before.

The Fleshtones returned to TX this past weekend for their second visit in
three months. They absolutely destroyed in Dallas Friday -- I've never
seen
people in Dallas get down like that. (The Mullens were awesome as well --
original drummer Rod Baird is back on board and they're a two guitar band
now -- they sound better than ever.) Saturday night in Austin the
Fleshtones played to a packed house at Beerland (one of the best rock n roll
clubs ever) and again had people goin nuts. They closed their set going off
stage and finished out in front of the club. Greatest rock n roll band
ever.
