[bomp] RE: Press Kits
I was wondering this myself a couple years back and the Get Hip folks told
me the standard these days is a "one-sheet" (not sure why it's called that)
-- basically a single page with all the pertinent info. Name, pic/pics,
description, list of releases and ideally a handful of review snippets. We
own the domain name for the Ugly Beats but we don't update that at all --
like it or not, myspace has become the standard, even for major label bands.
Mark, if you like, drop me a line off-list and I'll email you the one-sheet
we use for the Ugly Beats.
