Commandeering this old thread to ask if anyone has
recommendations for stores/markets to shop for older
records in Mexico City. But maybe not too old, I
probably wouldn't want to travel with 78s.

The Tianguis del Chopo record swap meet is definitely worth checking out...haven't been to DF since the hipsterization of the Colonia Roma 
  neighborhood, I wonder if any record stores have popped up there.  When I was in Mexico City Roma seemed like a pretty normal middle class neighborhood - at that time the hipster types seemed to be in the Condesa 
  neighborhood next door which has since been yuppified (yes, it happens
  in Mexico City too)
