I still have a stack of used LPs to listen to. I 'm much more inclined to buy cheap 45s I can use in my act. I have noticed I'm disinclined to go through piles of CDs these days, as I did twice this weekend.

Not sure who you're aiming that at, but I agree. If you read the article, the
guy had a separate storage room just for his records. Now I know space is
limited in NYC, but really, that's where the line's crossed.

Personally, as I age I come across fewer and fewer "must-haves" for my anemic
collection. It's not so much burnout, as it is just getting pickier. Having
said that, I still reserve the right, now and then, to pick up something I don't
know anything about because the cover art looked good or some other stupid
reason. If I get burned, then so be it. There're too many other things in life
to get pissed at.

Besides, it's all about the live experience, anyway.
