Hey Dave,

Glad you got sent in the right direction for your nephew's taste.  There are 
tons of late 60's heavy psych comps like Fistful of Fuzz and the Arf Arf 
"Overdose of Heavy Psych" which he might dig for exposure to new faves. 
Also, as you know, Christian Hamilton often features some great proto-metal, 
hard rock and/or heavy psych on Dementia 13 along with the lighter and 
progier stuff every Monday at 6 pm on www.ciut.fm worldwide.  She has played 
the Jarvis Street Revue more than we have on Real Cool Time 'cuz they are 
more stoner-rock style.  But they did evolve from the Plague and lexington 
Avenue in what's now Thunder Bay.  For more on them, check out the Gaiety
