Ok, I've got a question. My nephew is 14 years old (almost 15) and has
REALLY gotten big into late 60s - mid 70s hard/heavy rock. He's bored of
Zeppelin (after hearing the 2 Budgie I gave him he decided Zeppelin was
lame) and had made his way through most of the classic stuff (Deep
Purple, Sabbath, AC/DC, Motorhead, BOC) and he wants more. I want to
load him up with stuff for Xmess and this is not my area of expertise.
Any suggestions? Nothing too noodly or wanky (he really hates 80s metal
and his cutoff really seems to be around '80). I gave him UFO's first
album and he liked some of it (I found it in almost mint condition for
$1.49 at a local thrift. So points of reference for suggestions are
Sabbath, Deep Purple, Budgie, BOC and their ilk. I am lost when it comes
to this stuff and I knew there were some of you on here that could help.
