Joe requests backup...and now I hafta' admit I haven't heard the album.
   
  But I've seen 'em play and The Hex Dispensers are really good live.
   
  I did not buy any "new" records in 2007...just loaded up on old stuff.

i have to say the best album i've heard from this year and probably the past
5 yrs is the hex dispensers. the only reason i can't imagine this rec isn't
at the top of everyone's list is because they haven't heard it, which is a
damn shame. really really great. those guys are starting to build some
well-deserved buzz here.

but don't take my word for it -- 4 songs from that rec on their myspace,
including my fave, "forest ray colson."
