[bomp] Who knows this one?




I'm listening to a mix tape I made in 1972. One of the songs is "Rock Bottom 
Blues" by Fanny.

In the second verse she says "Been on the road since I was six-age-teen."

The first time I heard that record, I remember having heard that same phrase 
"six-age-teen" in some other lyric. I'll go ahead and suspect it's from some 
venerable old blues record, but I wouldn't have known that in 1972.

So where else did I hear it, and where did it originate? Google don't got 
nuthin'...
