There's an Austin band called The Eggmen.  Not much to look at but they sound quite good on most songs.  
  Funny thing, I heard (seriously) that The Eggmen have a "side project" where they do a set of Rutles covers.

"Rain". Based on the names, I would guess that the former focuses on
merseybeat material while the latter goes more psyche, but I could be
way off base. Does anyone know the difference between these two acts,
and more importantly does anyone recommend even seeing this kind of
show? Other than for schlock value, has anyone enjoyed a tribute show?
