[bomp] Take a Stand with the Ugly Beats - on Get Hip Recordings

Hey Bompers-

The new Ugly Beats platter is officially out.  Cds are in, with 180 gram
vinyl to follow in a couple weeks.  This one is called "Take a Stand with
the Ugly Beats" and follows in a similar vein to "Bring on the Beats" but
with a little more variety -- some of the tunes rock harder than anything on
the first rec, some lean toward quieter folk-rock with some acoustic
guitars, and everyone in the band sings on this record.

As with our last record, this one was brilliantly engineered and produced by
Bomplister Bob Widenhofer and features some terrific Byrds homage album
cover art by Johnny Bartlett.  Twelve songs in all -- nine originals plus
covers of your favorite tunes by the Ventures, the Remains, and Nikki & the
Corvettes.

Buy it!  Please!  And buy the first one if you don't have it!
