[bomp] LYRES at the KIRKLAND in SOMERVILLE ,MA 4/21




Hey Guys! This is the next to the last Lyres show at the Kirkland-the very last is Saturday,May 19 with Radio Knives,Killer Abs,and Corolla DeVille. Tomorrow my very good oals from NYC, Box Of Crayons go on a nine pm, The Boize go on at ten pm, Lyres eleven pm, Classic Ruins-midnight. Billy Borgioli will be guesting with the Ruins. We may sway PokemonoJeff to join in on "How Do You Know" or "Geraldine". Carl suggested he sing "You're Gonna Miss Me!" So we'll see.cheers!!! nancy neon

Wouldn't say it was excellent but it ain't bad at all.
I was pleasantly suprised after all the shoddy reviews
I read. As far as it goes, it's certainly better than
the majority of Iggy's solo stuff. The Asheton boys
are definitely the difference in this case, it's just
a shame that Iggy's a bit too 'wordy' in the lyric
department.

Mick Divvens and the BFN actually spent most of their career in
Columbus, OH, and he still resides here. But he's not playing music
anymore. Word is he's working in a gym now, somewhere like "California
Fitness." 

I have a CD-R of some of their singles a friend made me from the
original vinyl. If you're interested, I can try and dig it up or get a
new copy.
