[bomp] Hoodoo Gurus

Just got back from the Hoodoo Gurus at BB King's in NYC.  While the 
venue was too stuffy for my taste, the band really sounded great.  They 
hit just about every record from Stoneage Romeos through Mach Schau and 
even touched on their short time as The Persian Rugs with "Be A Woman" 
in the encore.   Lots of stuff from the first two LPs, but a fair amount 
from the rest, too.  Really a great time.  If I didn't have band 
rehearsal tomorrow night, I'd drive down to Philly to see them again.  
(But since we, The Miscreants - http://www.myspace.com/themiscreantsnj - 
are playing w/the Fleshtones and the Insomniacs at the Clash Bar in 
Clifton, NJ Friday night, practice is necessary.)

However, Dave Faulkner promised the audience that the Gurus would be 
back in October or so, by which time the new record should be out.
