I bought one of these and haven't been that impressed. I haven't had a
chance to play around with it too much but I found that running a turntable
through a preamp and into my PC worked as well and I was only out the cost
of a preamp (under $50). There are also Numark turntables with a built-in
preamp that aren't as much as the USB models and they are a more proven
technology. I would give this a marginal recommendation, but ONLY if you
have a reasonably fast computer and USB 2.0. If you don't have 2.0, forget
about it. I may like this a lot better after I play around with it more, but
I just haven't had time since I bought it (I've been fighting pneumonia) to
really put it through its paces.
