 Boston Bompers, come out to hear DJ PokemonoJeff aka Lyres' Jeff Conolly play your garage rock favorites and rareties at the Kirkland Cafe on Washington St. near Beacon St. in Somerville on Saturday,January 13 starting at 8:30.  DJ PMJ will play for the first hour then between bands and about 30 minutes to close the show. Also on the bill is Lady Kensington and The Beatlords from Portland,Maine, The Crybabies from Worcester,Mass., and The Come Arounds(Boston area). Cover:7 dollars. Also come to see Eric Martin and the Illyrians(featuring former members of the Neats) at Johnny D's on Highland Ave. in Davis Square in Somerville,MA. on Thursday,January 18. Also on the bill are the Electrolux Combo- a honking sax driven dance band with "cheesy" organ(that's meant in a good way!) and Elizabeth Lorrey.
