[bomp] "Let It Snow"...The Ventures?

Today on the radio I heard a deejay talking using, as background  music, an 
instrumental version of "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow" with a  guitar 
playing the melody, over a backing track that sounded modeled after  
"Summertime Blues."
 
Has anyone heard this version? Is this the Ventures? It's not on their 1965  
Christmas album (unless I have a truncated version, as was the case with some  
Liberty reissues). Did they have another Christmas  album?
