<<< This brings some geeky trivia to mind. I can think of two  artists (one 
US, one UK) who had good-sized American hits in the mid-60s and who  have been 
the victims of "alternate version flip-flop."  In other words,  with each 
successive re-issue you might get this take or you might get that  one.  Therefore 
it was also always a crap-shoot as to which version you'd  hear when it came 
on the radio. >>>
