  Ah yes, Milk 'n' Cookies.  I spent a buncha time w/ them when I was in high school.  The brother of lead singer Justin Time (ne Larry Strauss) and I were in the same class.  Drummer Mike Ruiz lived down the street from me.  On weekends, some of my friends and I got to play roadie for the band.  And we're talking about a crowd that was totally anti - anything that wasn't Grateful Dead/Allman Bros/Yes etc etc.  So when M & C would open for, say, the Dolls (at the Coventry in Queens), these guys would either run away screaming or laugh.  Alot.  Out Loud. So that part was a drag, but it's where I got to hear alot of great stuff for the first time (Sparks, The Move, Bowie etc.).  Looking forward to the piece in RockMania.  Oh, and it was guitarist Jay Weiss that married Kathleen Turner.
