Dear Bomp,

A few weeks ago we put together a 3 bands for the opening night of the new
venue 4 FAB.

With the sad news of Syd Barrett orginal member of Pink Floyd passing last
Friday it seems fitting to dedicate this night to him with the a
mindblowingly authentic early Pink Floyd (Syd era) tribute from
interstellar Overcoat live, read on for full info.

Sat 29 July Technicolor Dream party! 

A tribute to the late great SYD BARRET of Pink Floyd

FAB a monthly club night running almost 5 years now moves to a FAB new
venue on Sat 29 July in the heart of Londons west end. Venue 2 (opp Great
Portland St tube station) As you enter the green time tunnel to this cool
W1 cellar club expect 3 cool live bands, DJs, groovy visuals and a
friendly atmosphere, pub prices and air conditioning.

Our Technicolor dream party on Sat 29 July, comprises three Psychedelic
bands from the golden era of pop music. Headline act none other than the
legendary Crazy World of Arthur Brown who had a hit record in 1968 with
Fire and an outstanding top 20 LP on Track records. Arthurs amazing live
show still often ends with real fireworks. We are very pleased to have a
true character and an amazing voice and talent to our club roster.

Instant Flight a great new Psychedelic/Pop band from London have a new LP
out and are making a good impression on the London gig scene, expect a cool
set.

Interstellar Overcoat are an amazingly authentic tribute to the late great
Syd Barret era of London legends Pink Floyd who sadly passed away earlier
this month. Expect to hear the first album complete with all the crazy
sound effects plus all the early Floyd singles See Emily play, Arnold
Lane etc and a few of Syds late 60s early 70s solo efforts. The Floyd
along with the Soft Machine was instrumental in the development of the
London Psychedelic sound with UFO and Middle Earth club nights. 

After the bands Dr Robert & guest Liam Hughes from Watch your step will
spin fab underground 6ts dance music till 3am on chunky black vintage
vinyl.
