I love it. Maybe the saddest sounding bubblegum song ever.

Second chorus? Unless you have REALLY different mix, it's almost at the end 
of the song.

I always thought it was a toy horn of some sort, or a trumpet recorded to 
sound like a toy horn. A cheapo keyboard makes more sense.

...and I can't help but think of  that

No idea where it came from, but the single has the keyboard.
