I think the WORST biopic was the DOORS debacle....I
loved how "Jim" talked in song lyrics...sooooo bad.

Doors MOVIE was so bad that it inspired Ray Manzarek to write his excellent 
book LIGHT MY FIRE, which is really a good read.  I encourage all who like the 
Doors w/o the pretense shuvved all over 'em go to Ray's book.  It's a great 
band story told by the backbone of the group.

Oliver Stone is pretty much disregarded by everyone but the major studio 
dollar people.  He brought on the first major defense of the Warren Report thanks 
to his loose-with-the-facts JFK movie.  In other words, his movie had the 
opposite effect of what he'd hoped for with that.  It pitched Garrison's hard work 
in a bad way.  THE DOORS (which I'm in, BTW, standing next to L.A. mod DJ 
Riley Elliot behind the Go Go dancers in the Whisky a Go Go "The End" scene) also 
screwed up big-time.  It's a really buried cameo, BTW.
