I have a feeling that if Elektra had waited until 2005 to release Nuggets, 
there'd be a whole lot of garage nazi's complaining about the bands that 
Lenny Kaye chose.  Michael & The Messengers - that's pop crap!  The Amboy 
Dukes - Ted Nugent guitar crap!  The Castaways - that's not garage!  The 
Blues Magoos - They had hit records!  The Blues Project - hippie crap!  
Sagittarius - psych crap!  The Standells - Hollywood crap! The Chocolate 
Watchband - that's not the real singer! The Third Rail - that's not punk!  
The Knickerbockers - Beatles crap!  The Shadows of Knight - blues crap! The 
Magicians - minor key waltzy crap!  The Count V - that gets played on the 
radio!  The Premiers - frat crap!  Mouse & The Traps - Dylan crap!

BTW, yes, I like the CHILDREN OF NUGGETS box.  But I am a well known punk 
hater!

Should've been called CHYLDREN OF NUGGETS though.
