Was walking down the street here in Montpelier,
Vermont, yesterday and a teenage girl walked out the
door of Riverwalk Records, which is a used record
store--no CDs, just used records, and she had in her
hands a record she'd just bought. We're talking a
14-year-old girl here. And it was a Huey Lewis and the
News record. She'd paid probably at least $5 for
it--their records aren't cheap. I wanted to ask her
WHY! What makes a teen pay cash money for a Huey Lewis
record? Maybe it was for mom's birthday? But I didn't.
Just hope she's enjoying it.
Welcome back, Bomp List, I missed you.
