The Mike Smith Benefit

I got a second hand report from New York that:

---Denny Laine performed "Go Now", a James Brown tune
and a Dave Clark Five tune - and that Denny was in
better voice than he was in 1989.

that the show was sold-out and excellent.

Jo Jo Laine (denny's ex wife) has an album due out for
release in September on Wampus Media's FULLBACK
label - and then they might follow that up with
a re-release of Willie Loco's "Sperm Bank Babies"

who knows?  stay tuned...Jo Jo has been recording
those tapes since what...1986???  19 years is not too
long to wait...
